Appearance
Assign service providers and their engineers directly
Overview
In the direct provider workflow, the enterprise dispatcher selects a service provider. The provider dispatcher then selects a provider engineer in the service provider portal.
Before you begin
- The interconnection service process has been configured and the service provider portal has been opened.
- Service provider dispatchers and service provider engineers have been maintained.
- Process administrators at both ends can publish enterprise processes and service provider portal processes respectively.
Procedure
1. Configure enterprise-side nodes
Add the Assigned Service Provider node to the enterprise work order process.

Set up enterprise dispatch handlers and manual operations.

If you need to automatically select a service provider, configure automatic assignment rules; the rules will only be executed when the work order enters the node.

Save and publish the enterprise process.
If no auto dispatch rule matches, the enterprise dispatcher handles the work order manually. The documented Assign Service Provider to-do supports list assignment only.
2. Configure the service provider portal node
Add the Assign Service Provider Engineer (Service Provider) node to the service provider portal process.

Set the handler to the role of the service provider's dispatcher or the service provider's designated person.
Save and publish the provider portal process.
Use the service provider’s dispatcher account to select the service provider’s engineer.
Verify the result
- The enterprise first determines the service provider when dispatching orders or automatic rules.
- The service provider dispatcher receives the task on the service provider portal and can only choose the engineer of this service provider.
- The work order backfills the service implementation partner or existing enterprise downstream service provider fields, as well as the service provider dispatcher, time, method, and service provider engineer fields.
FAQ
Automatic service provider assignment is not executed
Check the interconnection service process and the Designated Service Provider node in the enterprise; the rules will not be executed without this node.
After selecting the service provider, the engineer is still empty.
Verify that the Provider Portal process contains the correct Provider Engineer Assignment node.
Notes
- Do not use the Assign Engineer node in the enterprise as a service provider portal node.
- Existing enterprises activated before version 880 may still use the downstream service provider field, which should be subject to actual backfilling.
