Configure the portal home page and menu

Configure the portal homepage, menu and scope of application according to service provider roles.

Overview

The service provider portal provides web and mobile workbench templates respectively. Administrators can set template names, priorities, applicability, homepage layout, and menu items by role.

The web homepage supports adding BI chart components. The mobile terminal organizes commonly used functions of the service provider through the menu entrance.

Before you begin

IMPORTANT

Use an administrator account with service provider portal or connected application management rights.

  • The service provider portal has been opened and the service provider account and role have been configured.
  • The menus that need to be displayed on the web and mobile terminals have been determined.
  • Applicable roles and priorities for each template have been clarified.
  • The business objects and functional permissions that service providers need to access have been configured.

Operation steps

Enter portal page settings

  1. In Service Pass > System Settings > Full Function Configuration > Service Provider Portal, enter the page settings.
  2. You can also enter the same configuration in Connected Management > Internet Application > Service Provider Portal.
  3. Select the system default page for editing, or create a new page.

Configure web template

  1. In the web template list, create or edit a workbench template.
  2. Set the template name, priority and scope of application.
  3. Select a home page layout.
  4. In the menu item configuration, add the menu required by the service provider role.
  5. In the homepage configuration, add the BI chart component as needed.
  6. Save the template.

web templates are usually used in conjunction with service provider web access channels.

Configure mobile terminal template

  1. In the mobile template list, create or edit a workbench template.
  2. Set the template name, priority and scope of application.
  3. In the page configuration, add the menu entry required by the service provider role.
  4. Adjust menu order and page layout.
  5. Save the template.

Mobile templates are usually used in conjunction with Fenxiang App or WeChat Official Account channels.

Expected results and verification

  1. Use the web test account to log in to the service provider portal.
  2. Confirm that the homepage layout, menus and BI components comply with the web-side template.
  3. Use the mobile test account to enter the service provider portal.
  4. Confirm that the menu entry and page layout comply with the mobile terminal template.
  5. Use different role accounts to verify the scope and priority of the template.

FAQ and Troubleshooting

The service provider account does not use the expected template.

Check the scope and priority of the template, and confirm that the role of the current account meets the template conditions.

The workbench template only controls the entrance. Continue to check the business objects, functions, and data permissions of the provider role.

The menu is not displayed on the mobile terminal

Confirm that the menu has been added to the mobile template, and check the access channels used by the current account and the scope of application of the template.

Notes

  • Web and mobile templates need to be configured separately.
  • Before editing the system default page, you should confirm the scope of service provider roles affected by the change.
  • Home page layout and menu entry will not automatically grant business object permissions.
