Parts store overview

Overview

The parts store adds parts and value-added services to your service channels. End users can buy replacement parts, and service providers can order parts after diagnosing an on-site issue. This connects diagnosis, purchasing, and follow-up service.

This capability suits manufacturers that sell both finished equipment and parts. Configure the finished-goods store and parts store independently, including their home pages, navigation, products, and pricing. The parts store shows only configured parts and services.

Typical business scenarios

End users purchase repair parts

After the service engineer confirms that the equipment accessories are damaged, he can notify the end user to enter the customer service portal to purchase the required accessories. End users can view products and prices, complete purchases and payments according to their own plans, and track order status and logistics information.

Service providers purchase on demand

Service providers do not have to pre-stock parts for all device models. After engineers arrive at the scene and determine the damage, the service provider can instantly purchase the required parts through the service provider portal, concentrating inventory funds and warehousing resources on commonly used materials.

The accessories mall has been released on the entire network, and the applicable terminals given in the product information include Web, App and third-party H5. The independent downstream access to the accessories mall also has the following channel restrictions: it supports H5 or Fenxiang App, and there is no independent public applet; enterprises can provide mobile access in combination with WeChat service accounts or Fenxiang App. Web-side ordering requires the administrator to assign the accessories mall interconnection application to the ordering staff.

Core concepts

The spare parts mall solves the problems of "who to sell to, what to display, and how to place an order" and does not replace the spare parts inventory management in the service channel. Whether the mall order further enters the enterprise's procurement, warehousing or fulfillment process depends on the ordering channel and the enterprise's business configuration.

Configuration relationship

To use the accessories mall, you need to purchase the Ordering Pass application first, and then enable the accessories mall business plug-in in the service pass. After enabling it, the system defaults to the accessory mall interconnection application. The administrator also needs to complete the following configurations:

  1. Independently set the mall homepage, navigation menu, product range and role permissions.
  2. Add the accessories mall to the customer service portal or service provider portal according to the usage object.
  3. When Web ordering is required, assign the ordering staff the accessory mall interconnection application.
  4. To select parts from an equipment exploded view, configure CPQ, exploded-view quoting, sales BOMs, and part-number mapping.
